Hospitalist Physician — Full-Time (7-on/7-off) in Great Falls, MT

Location and facility

• Great Falls, Montana
• Modern 46-bed acute care hospital (36 inpatient beds + 10-bed open ICU)
• In-house 5-OR hospital surgical suite and adjacent 4-OR Surgery Center
• Advanced cath labs and diagnostic/procedural capabilities
• 8-bed Emergency Department with experienced clinical staff

Position and schedule

• Full-time, hospital-employed hospitalist
• 7-on / 7-off block schedule, day shifts only (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM)
• Dedicated nocturnists and in-house Pulmonary/Critical Care coverage
• Telemedicine Critical Care/Pulmonology backup and broad on-call specialty support
• Average daily census ~15 patients per hospitalist
• Nursing ratio typically 1:5 (adjusted for acuity)

Clinical expectations

• Provide comprehensive inpatient care, coordinate with specialists and procedural teams
• Participate in multidisciplinary rounds and patient handoffs
• Maintain documentation and quality metrics as required by the hospital

Preferred procedural skills

• Central line placement
• Endotracheal intubation
• Arterial line insertion
  (Candidates without all preferred procedures but with willingness to obtain/maintain skills will be considered)

Requirements

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
• Eligible for Montana medical licensure
• Strong clinical judgment, communication, and teamwork skills
