Remote Locums Tele-Neurology Physician — Flexible Schedule, $210–$220/hr, Malpractice Covered

Board-certified or board-eligible Neurology physicians needed for 100% remote locum tele-neurology coverage supporting hospital EDs and inpatient services across multiple states. Ongoing need with flexible scheduling—suitable for supplemental work or long-term telemedicine practice.

Compensation and Engagement

• Rate: $210–$220 per hour
• Locum tenens with long-term assignments available
• Flexible FT and PT schedules; day, evening, overnight, and weekend shifts

Clinical Scope

• Provide real-time neurologic consultations for ED and inpatient teams
• Evaluate acute stroke alerts and advise on thrombolytic and endovascular decisions
• Review imaging and clinical data via secure enterprise telemedicine platform
• Collaborate with on-site clinicians on treatment plans
• Document encounters in the EMR

Requirements

• MD or DO
• Board-Certified or Board-Eligible in Neurology
• Stroke/vascular neurology experience preferred
• Active U.S. medical license required; multi-state licensure strongly preferred
• Preferred to have licenses in hand for: FL, NY, MA, TX, AR, AL, IA, AZ, CA
• Comfortable managing acute neurologic cases remotely
