Job Description
A physician-owned, multi-specialty surgical hospital and clinic in Altoona, Wisconsin is looking for a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible orthopedic hand surgeon to join a collaborative, growing team. This is a great chance for a motivated surgeon to build a busy hand practice with options for ownership, profit sharing, and long-term professional development.
We offer a flexible practice arrangement you can tailor to your goals—choose hospital or group employment, or work as an independent contractor. Compensation includes a guaranteed base salary in year one (aligned with MGMA benchmarks), a competitive wRVU-based bonus plan, sign-on bonus, and a relocation stipend. There’s also an opportunity to participate in profit sharing through ownership in the surgical hospital and clinic, plus a comprehensive benefits package (health, dental, vision, retirement), generous PTO, and a CME allowance.

Candidate requirements:
- MD or DO from an accredited medical school
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Orthopedic Surgery with fellowship training in Hand Surgery
- Eligibility for a Wisconsin medical license

- Ability to collaborate effectively in a team-based, multi-specialty setting
