Locums Tele-Neurology Physician — Remote Acute & Inpatient Stroke Consultant

Fully remote locum tele-neurology opportunity supporting hospitals and emergency departments across multiple states. Flexible scheduling with ongoing need—suitable for supplemental work or long-term telemedicine practice. Provide real-time neurologic consultation for acute and inpatient cases, including stroke alerts, using a secure enterprise telemedicine platform with full clinical and technical support.

• Compensation: $210–$220 per hour

Key responsibilities

• Provide remote neurologic consultations for ED and inpatient teams
• Evaluate acute stroke cases and guide thrombolytic and endovascular decisions
• Review imaging and clinical data in real time
• Collaborate with on-site clinicians to develop and adjust treatment plans
• Document encounters in the electronic medical record

Requirements

• MD or DO
• Board-Certified or Board-Eligible in Neurology
• Stroke experience preferred; vascular neurology fellowship a plus
• Active US medical license required; multi-state licensure strongly preferred (licensing support provided)
• Licenses in hand preferred for FL, NY, MA, TX, AR, AL, IA, AZ, CA
• Comfortable managing acute neurologic cases remotely
