Chief of Radiology — Academic-Linked Community Hospital Leader (Brown Univ. Affiliated, $500700K+)

Community-based hospital system just outside Providence (southeast/south coast of Massachusetts) is seeking a full-time, experienced radiologist to serve as Chief of Radiology. This leadership position combines clinical practice, operational management, and academic engagement through affiliation with Brown University.

Key responsibilities

• Provide strategic, clinical, and operational leadership for radiology across multiple community hospital sites.
• Oversee quality, safety, workflow, and performance metrics for imaging services.
• Lead program development, technology adoption, and service-line expansion.
• Recruit, mentor, and evaluate radiology staff; foster multidisciplinary collaboration.
• Manage budgets, staffing models, and resource allocation in coordination with hospital administration.
• Maintain a clinical practice and participate in teaching and mentorship with Brown University.

Qualifications

• Board certified in Diagnostic Radiology.
• Completion of an ACGME-accredited Diagnostic Radiology residency.
• Fellowship training preferred; subspecialty expertise a plus.

• Strong knowledge of hospital operations, quality metrics, and regulatory requirements.
