Job Description
Community-based hospital system just outside Providence (southeast/south coast of Massachusetts) is seeking a full-time, experienced radiologist to serve as Chief of Radiology. This leadership position combines clinical practice, operational management, and academic engagement through affiliation with Brown University.
Key responsibilities
- Provide strategic, clinical, and operational leadership for radiology across multiple community hospital sites.
- Oversee quality, safety, workflow, and performance metrics for imaging services.
- Lead program development, technology adoption, and service-line expansion.
- Recruit, mentor, and evaluate radiology staff; foster multidisciplinary collaboration.
- Manage budgets, staffing models, and resource allocation in coordination with hospital administration.
- Maintain a clinical practice and participate in teaching and mentorship with Brown University.

Qualifications
- Board certified in Diagnostic Radiology.
- Completion of an ACGME-accredited Diagnostic Radiology residency.

- Strong knowledge of hospital operations, quality metrics, and regulatory requirements.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and team-building skills.
- Eligible for medical licensure in Massachusetts and Rhode Island.
