Board-Certified Emergency Medicine Physician — Oakdale, CA (12-hr Shifts, $315/hr, 1099)

Oakdale, CA. Joining a 6+ physician Emergency Medicine group with 2.5 APPs. Group provides 24-hour physician coverage and 10-hour APP coverage daily.

Hospital & Facility

• 12-bed ED (all private rooms) + 4 fast-track beds
• 5 ICU beds; 30 med/surg beds
• Radiology, CT, ultrasound, MRI available daytime
• Established specialty services to support ED care

Clinical Responsibilities

• Provide emergency care in the ED; manage annual ED volume ~20,579 patients (avg 2.1 patients/hour) with ~4% admission rate
• Coordinate care with anesthesiology, interventional radiology, cardiology, general surgery, mobile crisis psych, orthopedics, pediatrics, and wound care
• Support hospital transition to Level IV Trauma designation (anticipated 2025–2026)

Schedule & Workload

• 12-hour shifts: 7:00 a.m.–7:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m.–7:00 a.m.
• Full-time = 120 hours/month; part-time options available

Compensation & Benefits

• $315.00/hour (1099 contractor)

Required Qualifications

• Board-certified in Emergency Medicine (ABEM or AOBEM)
• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS
