Psychiatry Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) or Physician Assistant — Behavioral Health, Boston MA

We are expanding our behavioral health team about 20 miles south of Boston and seek a compassionate, patient-focused Nurse Practitioner to deliver high-quality psychiatric care in a collaborative, innovation-driven environment.

Key responsibilities:

• Perform comprehensive psychiatric assessments and formulate individualized treatment plans.
• Manage psychotropic medications and provide ongoing follow-up care for a broad range of mental health conditions.
• Collaborate with psychiatrists, psychologists, social workers, and other clinicians to ensure coordinated, integrated care.
• Educate patients and families on diagnoses, treatment options, and medication adherence.
• Maintain accurate, timely medical records in accordance with hospital policies.
• Participate in multidisciplinary case conferences and contribute to clinical decision-making.

Qualifications:

• Active Nurse Practitioner license in Massachusetts.
• Board certification as a Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) or equivalent psychiatric experience as an NP.
• 1–2+ years of psychiatry or behavioral health experience preferred.
• Strong diagnostic, therapeutic, and patient communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative clinical team.
