Locum Tele-Neurologist — Remote Acute & Inpatient Stroke Consultation (Flexible Scheduling)

We seek Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Neurologists for a fully remote locum tenens Tele-Neurology role supporting hospitals and emergency departments across multiple states. This ongoing opportunity offers flexible scheduling—ideal for physicians seeking supplemental work or a long-term telemedicine practice. Physicians provide real-time neurologic consultations for acute and inpatient cases, including stroke alerts, via a secure enterprise telemedicine platform with full clinical and technical support.

• 100% remote telemedicine
• Competitive pay: $210–$220 per hour

Core responsibilities:

• Deliver remote neurologic consultations to emergency department and inpatient teams
• Evaluate acute stroke cases and guide thrombolytic and endovascular decisions
• Review imaging and clinical data in real time and collaborate with on-site clinicians on treatment plans
• Accurately document encounters in the EMR

Qualifications:

• MD or DO with Board-Certified or Board-Eligible status in Neurology
• Stroke experience preferred; vascular neurology training a plus
• Active U.S. medical license required; multi-state licensure strongly preferred (licensing support available)
• Preferred licenses in hand: FL, NY, MA, TX, AR, AL, IA, AZ, CA
• Comfortable managing acute neurologic cases remotely
