Locum Tenens Emergency Medicine Physician — Hudson, FL

Key responsibilities:

• Perform comprehensive patient evaluations: histories, physical exams, and interpretation of diagnostic studies.
• Stabilize and manage acute medical, traumatic, and behavioral emergencies.
• Develop and implement treatment plans, including medication management, procedural interventions, and minor surgical procedures as needed.
• Coordinate care with consultants, admit or discharge patients appropriately, and document encounters clearly and timely.
• Maintain clinical standards and participate in quality improvement and patient-safety initiatives.

Qualifications:

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Emergency Medicine (ABEM or AOBEM).
• Active Florida medical license.
• Current ACLS and PALS certifications.
• Strong clinical judgment, effective communication skills, and the ability to work well in fast-paced, team-oriented environments.
• Prior emergency medicine locum experience preferred but not required.
