Job Description
We are seeking an experienced, board-certified physician to serve as Regional Medical Director for our Brooklyn-based Treatment Center network. This hybrid role combines clinical practice with leadership: you will provide patient care as needed while spending most of your time mentoring clinicians, overseeing medical operations, and advancing clinical quality across NYC-area sites.
Compensation: $275,000–$315,000 plus bonuses and a full benefits package.
Key responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality patient care as needed to support clinical operations.
- Visit clinical sites 3–4 days per week to mentor, support, and develop medical staff.
- Oversee medical operations and ensure compliance with applicable regulations and standards.
- Collaborate with administrative and interdisciplinary teams to enhance patient care and clinic workflows.
- Design and implement training programs to strengthen clinical skills and patient outcomes.
- Monitor and evaluate clinical practice through quality assurance activities.
- Implement utilization management strategies and support value-based care initiatives.
- Support strategic growth and integration of primary care practices and clinical programs, including provider recruitment, onboarding, practice development, and clinical expansion.
Qualifications:
- MD or DO from an accredited medical school.
- Board certification in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or a related specialty.
- Valid New York medical license; active DEA registration; Medicare and Medicaid provider enrollment (or ability to obtain).
- Proven leadership experience in a healthcare setting, preferably overseeing multiple providers, sites, or interdisciplinary teams.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and mentoring skills.
- Commitment to clinical excellence, staff development, and program growth.
