Locums Tele-Neurologist — Remote (Stroke/Acute Neuro Consults)

Fully remote locum tenens tele-neurology positions supporting hospitals and emergency departments across multiple states. Flexible scheduling with ongoing need—suitable for supplemental work or a long-term telemedicine practice. Provide real-time neurologic consultation for acute and inpatient cases, including stroke alerts, using a secure enterprise telemedicine platform with clinical and technical support.

Compensation and Engagement

• Compensation: $210,000–$220,000 (as provided)
• 100% remote (work from home)
• Locum tenens engagement; long-term assignments available
• Flexible full-time and part-time schedules
• Day, evening, overnight, and weekend shifts

Clinical and Operational Support

• Enterprise-level telemedicine platform with real-time image review
• Full clinical and technical support
• Malpractice coverage provided
• Credentialing and licensing support; additional state licenses paid as needed

Key Responsibilities

• Provide remote neurologic consultations to emergency and inpatient teams
• Evaluate acute stroke cases; advise on thrombolytic and endovascular decisions
• Review imaging and clinical data in real time
• Collaborate with on-site clinicians to develop and implement treatment plans
• Document encounters in the electronic medical record

Qualifications

• MD or DO
• Board-Certified or Board-Eligible in Neurology
• Stroke experience preferred; vascular neurology fellowship a plus
• Active U.S. medical license required
• Multi-state licensure strongly preferred; licensing support provided
• Preferred licenses in hand: FL, NY, MA, TX, AR, AL, IA, AZ, CA
• Comfortable managing acute neurologic cases remotely
