Locum Tenens Emergency Medicine Physician — Freestanding ED (Hendersonville, TN)

We’re looking for a Locums Emergency Medicine Physician to staff a brand-new Freestanding Emergency Department in Hendersonville, TN. This is a long-term, flexible assignment in a modern, efficient setting with strong clinical support—ideal if you want predictable operations and a collaborative team.

Schedule and assignment

• 12-hour shifts: days 7:00 AM–7:00 PM and nights 7:00 PM–7:00 AM
• Mix of morning, mid, and night shifts; weekends and nights are required
• No call responsibilities
• Assignment length: 1 year+ with an ASAP start

Clinical duties

• Evaluate and manage patients with acute illnesses and injuries
• Perform common emergency procedures and order/interpret diagnostic tests (labs, imaging, EKGs)
• Stabilize and coordinate transfer for higher-acuity patients
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation

Who we’re hoping to hear from

• Board Certified or Board Eligible physicians (ABEM preferred)
• Internal Medicine or Family Medicine physicians with ED experience will be considered
• New graduates are welcome
• Must have an active Tennessee medical license or be able to obtain one
• Comfortable performing standard ED procedures
