Locum Tenens Anesthesiologist — Full-Time Weekday Coverage, Jupiter, FL

Provide locum anesthesiology coverage in Jupiter, FL, supporting a high-volume, multi-specialty surgical practice. This full-time role encompasses weekday shifts with structured beeper call coverage and requires hands-on management of a broad range of cases.

Schedule & call

• Weekdays: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–3:00 PM or 7:00 AM–5:00 PM
• Shift options: five 8-hour or five 10-hour shifts per week
• Beeper call coverage required for weekends and on-call periods
• Coverage expectation: minimum four weeks per month (no PRN)

Practice environment & case mix

• Multi-specialty OR with collaborative perioperative teams
• Typical cases: General Surgery, Orthopedics, GI, Robotics, OB, Radiology, Endocrine, Ophthalmology, Plastics, ENT, Neurosurgery
• Trauma cases not included; dedicated cardiac team handles cardiac procedures

Clinical responsibilities

• Deliver safe, evidence-based anesthesia care across a diverse surgical caseload
• Monitor and manage perioperative patients and respond to intraoperative changes
• Communicate effectively with surgeons, nursing, and OR staff
• Accurately document care in the EMR and adhere to institutional standards

Qualifications

• Board certified in Anesthesiology
• Active Florida medical license
• Current ACLS, BLS (AHA), and PALS certifications
