Job Description
Full-time Family Medicine position in Valparaiso, IN combining clinical care and residency faculty duties. Clinical schedule: two days per week providing outpatient care and chronic disease management, preventive care, and wellness services. Academic schedule: two days per week teaching and supervising residents in the Physician Residency Program.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver outpatient primary care and manage chronic conditions.
- Provide preventive and wellness services.
- Supervise, teach, and mentor residents; provide academic counseling.
- Coordinate and arrange resident rotations to meet program objectives.
- Participate in program reviews and quality/compliance activities.
- Engage in recruitment and selection of residency candidates.
- Perform other clinical and academic duties as assigned.

Minimum qualifications
- MD or DO from an accredited medical school.
- Completed family medicine residency.
- Board certification in Family Medicine.
- DEA registration.
- CPR certification.
- Indiana state medical license (or ability to obtain).
- Commitment to ongoing continuing medical education (CME).
- Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license.
