Locums Emergency Medicine Physician — Lake City, FL (Outdoor-Friendly Community, Competitive Locums)

We’re looking for a committed and experienced locum Emergency Medicine physician to join our team in Lake City, FL. In this role you’ll deliver high-quality emergency care to patients who present to the ED, working in a fast-paced environment where clinical judgment, clear communication, and procedural skill are essential.

What you’ll do:

• Provide comprehensive emergency medical care, from initial assessment through diagnosis, treatment, and disposition.
• Manage a broad spectrum of acute medical conditions and injuries.
• Perform emergency procedures as needed and coordinate care with nursing staff and consultants.
• Document encounters thoroughly and participate in patient-centered care planning.

What we’re looking for:

• MD or DO from an accredited medical school.
• Board certified or board eligible in Emergency Medicine.
• Valid medical license to practice in the state of Kansas.
• Current certifications in BLS, ACLS, and PALS.
