Orthopedic Trauma Surgeon — Level III Trauma, $3,850/Shift, Travel & Malpractice Covered

Join a Level III trauma center in Twin Falls, Idaho, where you’ll provide high-quality orthopedic care for a broad range of traumatic injuries alongside a collaborative, multidisciplinary team. You’ll manage both operative and non-operative fracture care, evaluate acute musculoskeletal injuries in the emergency department and inpatient settings, and help ensure excellent patient outcomes through clear communication and coordinated care.

What you’ll do

• Evaluate and treat patients with traumatic orthopedic injuries in a Level III trauma environment
• Perform operative and non-operative fracture management and related orthopedic procedures
• Provide timely consultations for emergency department and inpatient cases
• Participate in trauma call coverage as a member of the orthopedic team
• Work closely with emergency medicine physicians, trauma surgeons, hospitalists, advanced practice providers, and surgical support staff
• Maintain accurate documentation and uphold high standards for patient safety and quality

What we’re looking for

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Orthopedic Surgery
• Fellowship training in Orthopedic Trauma preferred
• Eligibility for Idaho medical licensure
• Strong clinical judgment and the ability to manage complex trauma cases
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Compensation & perks

• $3,850 per shift (generous, above-market rate)
