Locum Tenens Emergency Medicine Physician — Tampa, FL

Join our team in Port Tampa as a locum tenens Emergency Medicine physician and help deliver high-quality, compassionate care in a fast-paced ED environment. You’ll rotate through a variety of emergency settings, seeing patients across the age spectrum and managing a wide range of acute medical and traumatic conditions.

What you’ll do:

• Perform thorough patient evaluations including histories, physicals, and interpretation of diagnostic tests.
• Stabilize and treat critically ill or injured patients, initiate appropriate resuscitation, and coordinate care with consultants and admitting services.
• Provide medication management, procedural care (e.g., laceration repair, intubation, procedural sedation), and other emergency interventions as needed.
• Communicate clearly with patients and families, document care promptly, and follow established protocols and quality standards.

Who we’re looking for:

• Board certified or board eligible in Emergency Medicine (ABEM or AOBEM).
• Active Florida medical license.
• Current ACLS and PALS certifications.
• Comfortable working independently in busy emergency settings and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.
