Job Description
We’re looking for an experienced Emergency Medicine physician to join our team on a locum tenens basis in Port Charlotte, FL. This role is ideal if you want flexible scheduling and the chance to practice across varied emergency department settings while delivering high-quality, time-sensitive care.
In this role you’ll evaluate and treat patients with a broad range of acute conditions—performing focused histories and physicals, ordering and interpreting diagnostics, initiating treatment plans, administering medications, and performing minor procedures as needed. You’ll collaborate with nurses, specialists, and support staff to ensure safe, efficient patient flow and excellent outcomes.
Requirements:
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Emergency Medicine (ABEM or AOBEM)
- Active Florida medical license
- Current ACLS and PALS certifications
