Locum Cognitive/Behavioral Neurointerventional Physician — Outpatient Dementia Clinic (Hackensack, NJ)

We’re looking for a locum clinician to provide outpatient, clinic-only coverage in Hackensack, New Jersey, focused on evaluation and ongoing management of adults with cognitive and neurodegenerative disorders. You’ll work in a collaborative, well-supported clinical setting where continuity of care is emphasized.

Compensation

• $250 per hour

Assignment overview

• Setting: Outpatient clinic only
• Patient population: Adults 22+ with a predominance of geriatric patients
• Coverage: Ongoing locums support

Schedule

• Minimum 4 days per week
• Typical hours: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (8-hour days)
• Scheduling is flexible based on provider availability
• No call, no weekends

Patient volume

• Mixture of new and follow-up visits
• About 3–4 new patients per day
• About 6–8 follow-up visits per day

Typical conditions you’ll manage

• Alzheimer’s disease
• Dementia, including Parkinson’s-related dementia
• Cognitive impairment and other memory disorders

Clinical environment

• No procedures required
• EMR: Epic

Requirements

• Completion of a Cognitive Neurology and/or Behavioral Neurology fellowship
• Dementia fellowship strongly preferred
• Neurology board certified or eligible
• Active or eligible New Jersey medical license
• Strong experience in outpatient cognitive and dementia care
