A well-established outpatient pain management practice in Chestertown, MD seeks a full-time Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join a collaborative, patient-centered clinical team. The role involves comprehensive pain evaluation, treatment planning, and participation in in-office pain management procedures under physician oversight.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct patient evaluations, develop and implement treatment plans for chronic and acute pain
• Perform and assist with in-office procedures related to pain management
• Manage patient care within the electronic medical record (EMR)

Qualifications

• Current national certification as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
• Master’s degree in Nursing or related field
• Current, unrestricted Maryland license (or ability to obtain)
• DEA license or ability to obtain, as required
• Minimum one year of experience in pain management practice
• Minimum one year of experience performing in-office procedures
• Minimum one year of EMR experience
• ACLS and/or BLS certification as required by practice standards
