Required qualifications
- Valid, active Physical Therapy Assistant state license.
- Registry personnel must bring state or federal photo ID to the facility and wear a photo badge at all times.
Key responsibilities
- Assist the Physical Therapist with patient evaluations and implement prescribed interventions and exercises.
- Administer therapeutic modalities and operate rehabilitation equipment safely and effectively.
- Instruct patients in exercise programs and provide education to patients and families on home programs and recovery goals.
- Maintain accurate, timely patient documentation and communicate findings and progress with the Physical Therapist and care team.
- Follow facility safety, infection control, and regulatory protocols.
