Required credentials

• Valid, active Occupational Therapy state license.
• CPR and BLS certification from American Heart Association or Red Cross (with AED).

Core responsibilities

• Assess patients’ physical and cognitive abilities and home/environmental factors to identify limitations and set functional goals.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans using appropriate therapeutic techniques to improve activities of daily living.
• Recommend, instruct in, and document use of adaptive equipment and assistive devices.
• Educate patients and families on strategies to promote independence and manage conditions.
• Monitor, document, and modify treatment based on patient progress; collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team.
