Travel ICU RN (Rotating 12-hr) — Kealakekua, HI (13-week, Peds/PALS Required)

Join a 13-week contract in beautiful Kealakekua, HI starting July 20, 2026. This role is for an experienced ICU RN working rotating 12-hour day or night shifts. You’ll work a schedule that averages 72 hours every two weeks in a 9-bed adult ICU that occasionally cares for stable pediatric patients (unstable pediatrics are transferred to a higher level of care).

What you’ll do

• Provide intensive care in a 9-bed unit, typically at a 2:1 patient-to-nurse ratio; 1:1 when clinically indicated.
• Handle med/surg overflow as needed — at times the ratio may increase to 3–4 patients per nurse.
• Serve as one of a minimum of three nurses on each shift.
• Float to other departments to assist when required (you would not take a team of patients).
• Accept charge nurse assignments as needed; an additional $2.00/hour is paid when assigned charge duties.

Qualifications

• Current RN license
• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience
• Pediatric experience required
• PALS certification required
