RN Dialysis

Position: Registered Nurse – Dialysis
Location: Livonia, MI (with travel to multiple clinic locations as needed)
Contract Length: 13 Weeks

Pay Rate: $58/hr

Schedule:

• 10-hour shifts, 4 days per week
• Approximately 8:00 AM – 7:30 PM
• Shift hours will be discussed during the interview..

Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Dialysis RN to provide high-quality care to patients receiving dialysis treatments. The selected candidate will be responsible for direct patient care, medication administration, patient assessments, and supporting the dialysis team in a fast-paced outpatient setting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform comprehensive patient assessments before, during, and after dialysis treatments.
• Administer medications and monitor patient responses throughout treatment.
• Provide safe and effective dialysis nursing care while ensuring patient comfort and safety.
• Document patient care accurately in the electronic medical record.
• Collaborate with nephrologists, dialysis technicians, and the interdisciplinary healthcare team.
• Educate patients and families on dialysis treatments, medications, and disease management.
• Support clinic operations and maintain compliance with infection prevention and safety standards.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years of recent Dialysis RN experience.
• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Strong assessment, clinical, and communication skills.
• Ability to work efficiently in a busy outpatient dialysis environment.
• Candidate should be comfortable caring for up to 36 patients per day as part of the clinical team. (This does not mean the RN will personally see all patients.)

Assignment Details:

• The RN is expected to perform nursing assignments, including patient assessments, medication administration, and, when necessary, assist with technician-related responsibilities.
