Travel Surgical Technician (CST) — Zanesville, OH (13-week Contract)

We’re seeking an experienced Surgical Technician to join a team in Zanesville, OH for a 13-week contract starting July 27, 2026. This is a day-shift position with a weekly schedule of 40 hours and a pay rate of $2,000/40 hours. You’ll work either four 10-hour shifts or five 8-hour shifts; start and end times can be negotiated.

What we need from you

• At least three years of hands-on surgical tech experience.
• Broad, current experience across specialties — especially orthopedics, neurosurgery, and vascular cases. Candidates who don’t demonstrate this full range of experience won’t be considered.
• Minimal RTO is preferred and will receive priority.
• Graduation from an accredited surgical technology program.
• BLS certification required.
• CST certification preferred but not required.
• Strong critical thinking and solid knowledge of central processing and instrumentation.

On-call and schedule details

• Expect roughly every 5th weekend on call (shared between Call 1 and Call 2) and about 1–2 calls per week (also split between Call 1 and Call 2).
• Call volume can change based on department needs and staffing; call expectations mirror current staffing patterns.
• When on call, you must be able to arrive on site within 30 minutes of the call.
• Holiday call rotation may be required if a holiday falls during your contract, dependent on patient census and staffing.
