Job Description
Join TeamHealth's growing post-acute care team in the North Nashville, Tennessee, area. This is an excellent opportunity to provide quality, compassionate care as a cardiology advanced practice clinician for weekday rounding at our skilled nursing facility partners.
You will be responsible for cardiology consults for adults in skilled nursing facilities Monday through Friday. No after-hours or weekend call associated with this position.
We ask that candidates have a current Tennessee nurse practitioner or physician assistant license and DEA. Preferred candidates have two years of cardiology experience. Additional cardiology training will be provided.
This is a full-time, benefits eligible position; expected compensation is estimated range of $130,469 - $152,000 annually with no cap on productivity income potential.

Key Responsibilities
- Cardiac consulting and follow-up care to patients in skilled nursing facilities
- Analyze pathophysiology for cardiovascular disease processes
- Interpret stress and EKG tests
- Order and interpret lab results
- Prescribe and monitor medications
- Manage patients with cardiac defibrillators and pacemakers
Qualifications
- Current NP or PA Tennessee license and DEA
- 2 years-experience in cardiology
- Strong clinical foundation and knowledge of healthcare regulatory standards
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Collaborative, team-oriented approach with a positive outlook
