Join a team in Eureka, CA, as a locum tenens anesthesiologist providing outpatient coverage for less-critical surgical cases. You’ll work Monday–Friday, 7:00 a.m.–4:00 p.m., starting July 20, 2026, with ongoing opportunities. Travel, lodging, and malpractice are covered by the agency.

What you’ll do:

• Provide outpatient anesthesiology care for adult and pediatric patients undergoing less-critical procedures
• Administer general anesthesia (adult and pediatric)
• Manage ventilation and acute volume/blood-pressure issues
• Document and manage care using Epic EMR

Typical patient load and setting:

• Average about 8 patients per day
• Outpatient surgical environment supported by a team of RNs (12) and office staff (6)

Requirements:

• Board eligible (within 3–5 years of residency)
• California medical license and DEA registration
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
• Clean professional file (no major settlements, DUIs, practice restrictions, terminations, or Medical Board actions)
• Hospital privileges required
