Looking for an experienced RN to join a short-term hospital contract in Opelousas, Louisiana. This is an 8-week, night-shift travel assignment beginning July 1, 2026, working in the nursery caring for newborns and supporting the maternity team.

What you’ll be doing:

• Provide hands-on nursing care for newborns in the nursery, collaborating closely with physicians and nursing staff.
• Monitor newborns’ condition, carry out assessments, and document care accurately.
• Support feeding, parental education, and discharge planning as appropriate.
• Respond to neonatal emergencies and follow established protocols.

What we need from you:

• Active Registered Nurse license.
• Minimum 2 years of clinical nursing experience.
• Current certifications: NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program), ACLS, and BLS.
• Comfortable working night shift hours and adapting to a travel contract environment.
