Location: Cooperstown, NY — Outpatient hematology/hematology-oncology locum tenens position beginning 10/26/2026, ongoing.
Schedule: Clinical coverage 3 days per week.
Clinical Scope: Adult outpatient practice seeing approximately 12–15 patients per day. Case mix is roughly 80% oncology and 20% hematology. Expected duties include evaluation and management of benign and malignant hematologic conditions, outpatient oncology care, and documentation in Epic. Bone marrow procedures preferred. Coordinate care with a multidisciplinary team (including interventional radiology backup) and collaborate with onsite support staff: 1 MD, 1 NP, and nursing personnel.
Credentials & Compliance: Hospital privileges required; credentialing timeline 60–120 days. Required: active New York medical license, board certification in hematology/oncology, active DEA registration. Immunizations/compliance: flu vaccine or declination and negative TB within one year.
Systems & Resources: Epic EMR; standard outpatient clinic equipment available.
Compensation & Logistics: Rate TBD. Travel, lodging, and malpractice insurance provided.
