Required procedures & clinical responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive inpatient and outpatient neurosurgical care
- Perform general neurosurgery and spinal surgery with and without instrumentation (cervical, thoracic, lumbar)
- Manage trauma/emergency neurosurgical cases, including placement of intracranial pressure (ICP) monitors
- Participate in weekday night call and 24‑hour weekend call as scheduled
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary team and support staff
Credentials & experience
- Board: BC/BE (board‑eligible within 3–5 years considered)
- CA medical license required
- DEA required
- Fluoroscopy certification required
- Minimum 2 years of current hospital clinical neurosurgery experience
- Minimum of 100 neurosurgical cases in the past 24 months
