Locums - Orthopedic Surgery Physician opportunity in northern New Hampshire

Locums - A well respected rural healthcare system is seeking a General Orthopedic Surgeon to assist with ongoing coverage in northern New Hampshire.

• Board Certified or Board Eligible Orthopedic Surgeon
• Start ASAP for approximately 6-month assignment with potential to extend
• Mon-Fri 8a-5p schedule
• Mix of clinic, surgery, shared call responsibilities
• Approx. 10 days of call per month
• Possible coverage at two locations, one main and the other will be occasional
• OR days are Mon, Wed, Thu; clinic on Tues and Fri
• Must be comfortable performing total joint replacements, including hip, knee, and shoulder
• Experience treating common orthopedic conditions and degenerative joint disease required
• Comfort managing hand procedures, including carpal tunnel and trigger finger highly preferred
• Comfort managing spine and back pain highly preferred
• EMR Meditech Expanse
• Active NH license or willing to obtain, DEA, AHA-BLS, recent case logs, recently pulled NPDB required
