Outpatient Gastroenterology Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant — Buffalo, NY

Join a growing outpatient gastroenterology team in beautiful rural Wyoming. We’re looking for a full-time Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant who wants a flexible schedule, competitive pay, and the support of an experienced GI group. No prior gastroenterology background is required—providers with strong primary care or internal medicine experience are encouraged to apply.

What the role looks like

• Schedule: Monday–Friday, full-time
• Setting: Outpatient gastroenterology clinics
• Patients: Adult population
• Volume: About 12–16 patients per day
• Weekly rhythm:
  • 2 days in Sheridan
  • 2 days in Gillette/Buffalo
  • 1 remote administrative day
• Travel between clinic sites is required and expenses are fully covered

Day-to-day responsibilities

• Evaluate and manage adults with acute and chronic GI issues
• See new patients and handle follow-ups
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests and labs
• Develop treatment plans and provide clear patient education
• Work closely with gastroenterologists and clinic staff to ensure patient-centered care
• Maintain timely, accurate EMR documentation

Compensation & benefits

• Salary: $115,000–$125,000 annually
• 45% production bonus

Who we’re looking for

• Graduate of an accredited NP or PA program
• Board certified as an NP or PA
• Eligible for or already hold a Wyoming license
• Background in primary care, family medicine, or internal medicine preferred
• No prior GI experience required—training will be provided
• Strong communication skills and a team-oriented approach
