Patient population and case mix:
- Adults, obstetrics, and surgical patients

Facility and team:
- Acute care hospital
- Support: 2 anesthesiologists and 6 CRNAs (daily staffing typically 1 anesthesiologist + 5 CRNAs)
- Reason for coverage: supplemental
Required privileges, credentialing, and compliance:
- Hospital privileges required
- Credentialing timeline: 60–90 days
- Onsite orientation required prior to first shift
- Drug screen required prior to scheduling shifts
Clinical responsibilities:
- Provide anesthesia care for general, orthopedic, obstetric, and urology cases
- Perform general anesthesia, regional blocks, and neuraxial blocks independently
- Participate in shared 1:6 in-house call rotation
- Collaborate with anesthesiologists, surgeons, and perioperative staff
- Complete all onboarding, credentialing, and compliance requirements before first scheduled shift
Qualifications:
- Active Louisiana medical (APRN/CRNA) license required
- Board-certified CRNA required
- BLS preferred
- New graduates welcome
- Regional and neuraxial block training available
- Provider availability must be submitted at time of presentation for name clearance
