Locums Primary Care (Family Med) — Georgia Outpatient, MonFri No Call, Supportive Team

Join a well-established outpatient practice in Georgia as a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Primary Care Physician (Family Medicine). This locum tenens role offers a predictable schedule, a supportive clinical team, and the chance to deliver patient-centered care.

Position highlights

• Outpatient primary care clinic
• Monday–Friday schedule, typical hours 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
• No call required unless specified
• Average 18–22 patients per day
• Primarily adult patient panel; family medicine providers may see pediatric patients as needed
• Collaborative team includes APPs, nurses, and medical assistants
• Modern electronic medical record system

Key responsibilities

• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat acute and chronic conditions
• Provide routine wellness and preventive care visits
• Manage chronic disease and develop individualized treatment plans
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests and labs
• Prescribe medications and coordinate care with specialists
• Maintain accurate, timely medical documentation

Qualifications

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine (Internal Medicine candidates considered)
• Active Georgia medical license or ability to obtain one
• Current DEA registration
• BLS certification
• Strong communication skills and commitment to high-quality patient care
