Locum Tenens Hospitalist Physician — Hudson, FL (Inpatient Medicine)

A well-established healthcare system in Hudson, Florida is looking for a Locums Hospitalist Physician to join their hospital medicine team. You’ll be part of a collaborative group of physicians, advanced practice providers, nurses, and specialists, working in a patient-centered environment where teamwork and clear communication drive excellent care.

What you’ll do:

• Admit, evaluate, and round on adult inpatients daily
• Diagnose and manage a wide range of acute and chronic medical conditions
• Create and implement evidence-based treatment plans
• Coordinate care with consultants, specialists, nursing, and ancillary departments
• Manage discharges and transitions of care to ensure safe handoffs
• Respond to changes in clinical status and medical emergencies when they arise
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation in the electronic medical record
• Participate in multidisciplinary care planning and quality improvement initiatives

Who we’re looking for:

• MD or DO degree
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
• Active Florida medical license or the ability to obtain one
• Current DEA registration
• BLS and ACLS certifications preferred
