Shifts to be filled:

• Aug 24–31
• Aug 31–Sep 4 (Clinic only)
• Sep 21–Oct 1
• Oct 12–Nov 2
• Nov 16–30
• Dec 14–Jan 4

Schedule:

• Clinic/OR: Mon–Fri, 10:00 am–3:00 pm (half-day clinic + OR)
• Weekend beeper call required; call response time: 20 minutes

Clinical duties:

• Adult patients primarily; very few pediatric cases
• Rounding required
• 5–10 phone consults per shift on average
• Supervise APPs (1 APP on service), work with nursing staff and urology tech
• Specialty backup: hospitalist and local urologists available by phone
• Trauma level IV

Logistics & systems:

• EMR: Athena; Meditech
• Hospital privileges required
• Travel, lodging, and malpractice insurance provided

Requirements:

• Active New Mexico medical license
• BC/BE in Urology
• BLS and ACLS certifications
