Locum Tenens Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) — Acute Care Hospital, Minneapolis (Care Team Model)

Locum tenens CRNA opportunity in Minneapolis, MN at a tertiary acute-care hospital (Adult Level III trauma). Coverage begins 10/12/2026 and is ongoing. Clinical shifts are 8-, 10- or 12-hour schedules with a typical 6:30 AM start. Optional beeper call for weeknights and weekends with on-call response as needed.

Clinical scope: Provide anesthesia for adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients across general and specialty surgical cases within a care-team model (4:1). CRNAs do not perform blocks, arterial lines, epidurals, or spinals. Document all care in Epic.

Facility and support: Large tertiary facility using Epic, standard operating rooms, and a 24-hour anesthesia aide department. Specialty backup available through the care-team model.

Credentials and compliance: Hospital privileges required; credentialing typically takes 90–120 days. Required licenses/certifications: active MN RN and CRNA licenses, NBCRNA certification, ACLS and BLS. Minimum one year of experience. Candidate must live more than 50 miles from Abbott Northwestern. Responsibilities: Deliver supervised anesthesia care within the care-team framework; collaborate with anesthesiologists, CRNAs, and perioperative staff; maintain accurate Epic documentation; participate in optional call coverage as available.
