We’re looking for a Licensed Practical Nurse to provide one-on-one, private duty nursing for a student in a Rockville, Maryland school setting. This is a contract role during the school day (up to 7 hours/day; exact schedule to be confirmed) at a rate of $35/hour.

What we need from you

• Active Maryland LPN license
• Current CPR and First Aid certifications
• Experience in pediatric, school, or private duty nursing is preferred

What you’ll do

• Provide individualized nursing care according to the student’s Plan of Care
• Stay with and monitor the assigned student throughout the school day and during transportation when required
• Administer medications and physician-ordered treatments safely and accurately
• Perform and support specialized health needs within your scope, which may include tube feeding, catheterization, suctioning, oxygen support, and diabetic monitoring
• Communicate effectively with school staff, families, and healthcare providers as needed
• Keep clear, accurate service and health documentation
• Perform other nursing duties as assigned that fall within your scope of practice
