Join a outpatient rehabilitation team in Waldorf, MD for a 13-week contract (non-travel) assignment starting July 20, 2026. This full-time role follows a Monday–Friday schedule and is paid locally at $1,484 for a 35-hour week.
Requirements:
- Current, active Physical Therapy Assistant license in the state of Maryland.
Key responsibilities:
- Support the Physical Therapist in patient evaluations and implement prescribed interventions and exercise programs.
- Deliver therapeutic modalities and operate rehabilitation equipment safely and effectively.
- Teach and reinforce home exercise programs; provide education to patients and caregivers to support recovery.
- Accurately document patient progress and communicate regularly with the Physical Therapist and interdisciplinary team.
- Follow safety protocols and infection control standards at all times.
