Contract Occupational Therapist (OT) — Carmichael, CA (13-Week Local Assignment)

We’re looking for an experienced Occupational Therapist to join a Carmichael, CA clinic on a 13-week contract (non-travel). This role starts August 17, 2026, follows a Monday–Friday schedule, and is structured as a local assignment: 36 hours per week at a rate of $2,347/week.

What you’ll bring

• Active, valid Occupational Therapy license for the state of California.
• Current CPR and BLS certification from the American Heart Association or Red Cross (including AED).

What you’ll do

• Assess patients’ physical and cognitive abilities, and evaluate their home or work environments to identify barriers and realistic goals.
• Design individualized treatment plans and deliver evidence-based interventions to improve everyday function and independence.
• Recommend and train patients on adaptive equipment and assistive devices to enhance safety and participation.
• Educate patients and families on condition management, energy conservation, and strategies to promote independence.
• Track and document patient progress, adjust treatment as needed, and collaborate with the broader healthcare team to ensure coordinated care.
