We’re seeking a board-certified urologist to provide ongoing locum tenens coverage in Stevens Point, WI. This role blends inpatient and outpatient care with a flexible, primarily Monday–Friday schedule averaging 36 hours per week and required system call of 7–10 days per month (including one weekend). Call is beeper-based with a 30-minute response expectation.

- Location: Stevens Point, WI 54481 (occasional outreach to Wisconsin Rapids, 1–2 days/month)
- Coverage type: Clinical duties plus call
- Dates: Starting Sep 07, 2026 – ongoing
- Setting: Inpatient and outpatient (clinic average ~16 patients/day)
- Rounding: Assigned patients
- Travel, lodging, and malpractice coverage provided by the agency
Clinical scope & procedures
You’ll provide full-time urology coverage in clinic and the OR. Required skills include general adult urology, TRUS and other biopsy work, fertility evaluations, incontinence procedures, penile prosthesis, ESWL, renal transplant surgery, and advanced pediatric surgery. Preferred experience includes advanced endoscopic and laparoscopic techniques, percutaneous nephrolithotomy, ureteroscopy, radical cystectomy with ileo-loop conduit, radical prostatectomy, nephrectomy (including partial nephrectomy with intraoperative ultrasound), pelvic node dissection, robotic surgery, adrenalectomy, and renal/bladder ultrasound.

- Support staff: 1 RN, 2 MAs, 2 PA/NPs, 1 office staff member
- Hospital privileges: Required (temporary privileges available)
Credentials & requirements
- Board certification required
- Fellowship required
- BLS required

Responsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive urology care in clinic and the OR
- Perform required procedures (see list above) and participate in the established call schedule
- Coordinate with the multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless, high-quality patient care
