Contract Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) — Salinas, CA (14-Week, Aug 2026)

We’re seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist to join a team in Salinas, CA for a 14-week, contract (non-travel) assignment starting August 10, 2026. This is a local opportunity with a weekday schedule of 8:00 AM–4:30 PM and a pay rate of $2,282 for 35 hours per week.

What you’ll need

• A valid, active state license to practice as a Speech-Language Pathologist.

What you’ll be doing

• Conduct thorough assessments of speech, language, communication, and swallowing function.
• Determine diagnoses and the severity of communication or swallowing disorders, then develop individualized treatment plans.
• Provide evidence-based therapy to improve articulation, fluency, voice, receptive and expressive language skills.
• Treat dysphagia, teach safe-swallowing strategies, and coach patients and families on exercises and home practice.
• Keep accurate, up-to-date patient records and collaborate closely with the multidisciplinary care team.
