We’re looking for an experienced electrophysiologist to provide locum tenens coverage in Chambersburg, PA. This role supports hospital, clinic, and academic/training services with clinical-only coverage from Sep 8, 2026 through Dec 8, 2026. Typical schedule is Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m.

Who you’ll be seeing

• Adult patients (ages 18–100)
• Daily volume: ~16 outpatients and 10–15 inpatients
• Case mix: full EP practice including pacemakers, ICDs (traditional and subcutaneous), ablations, and loop recorders

Facility and logistics

• Hospital-wide beds: 270
• EMR: Epic
• Reason for coverage: supplemental/vacation coverage
• Temporary hospital privileges available; full privileges required (credentialing timeline ~90 days)

Procedures expected

• Pacemaker implants
• ICD implants (traditional and sub-Q)
• Loop recorder implant and explant
• Ablations: AVN, SVT, atrial flutter

Requirements

• Active PA medical license or IMLC LOQ
• BC/BE in Electrophysiology
• DEA registration
• ACLS and BLS certifications

Day-to-day responsibilities

• Provide outpatient EP consultations and follow-up care
• Manage inpatient EP consultations
• Perform device implants, explants, and catheter ablations as listed
• Work collaboratively with the assigned clinical team and APPs to coordinate patient care
