Contract Occupational Therapist (OT) — 13-Week Non-Travel Assignment, Pittsfield MA

We’re looking for an Occupational Therapist to join a team in Pittsfield, MA for a 13-week contract (non-travel), starting July 20, 2026. This role follows a full-week schedule (Sunday through Saturday), so you’ll be available across all days as needed.

What you’ll bring

• A valid, active Occupational Therapy state license.
• Current CPR and BLS certification from the American Heart Association or the Red Cross (AED included).

What you’ll do

• Assess patients’ physical and cognitive abilities as well as their home and care environments to pinpoint limitations and set meaningful goals.
• Develop individualized treatment plans and use a variety of therapeutic techniques to improve patients’ functional independence and daily living skills.
• Recommend and train patients in using adaptive equipment and assistive technology to support safer, more independent routines.
• Teach patients and family members strategies to manage conditions and promote independence between sessions.
• Monitor and document progress, adjust plans as needed, and communicate regularly with the broader healthcare team to ensure coordinated care.
