Join a locum tenens assignment in Prairie du Chien, WI, providing comprehensive dental care for a correctional facility. This full-time position starts ASAP for 27 weeks, scheduled 7:00 AM–3:30 PM, with competitive pay at $150/hour.
Requirements:
- DDS or DMD degree.
- Active license to practice dentistry in Wisconsin.
- Proficiency in general dentistry, infection control, and dental radiography.
- Excellent clinical judgment, communication, and teamwork skills.
Key responsibilities:
- Conduct dental examinations, diagnostics, and treatment procedures, including restorations, extractions, prophylaxis, and emergency care.
- Diagnose oral conditions and develop appropriate, evidence-based treatment plans.
- Deliver routine and urgent dental services in accordance with departmental and WIDOC policies and infection control standards.
- Maintain accurate, timely dental records and documentation per facility protocols.
- Coordinate care with medical and mental health staff to ensure integrated inmate healthcare.
