Requirements:

• Active RN license in practicing state.
• Minimum 1 year dialysis/renal nursing experience preferred.
• Current BLS required; ACLS may be required.
• Proficiency with hemodialysis machines and protocols.
• Strong assessment, critical-thinking, and multi-patient management skills.
• Knowledge of infection control and vascular access care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform pre- and post-dialysis assessments.
• Initiate, monitor, and terminate dialysis treatments per protocol.
• Manage vascular access (fistula, graft, catheter) and identify complications.
• Administer medications and IV therapies as ordered; monitor patient response and intervene as needed.
• Accurately document treatments, assessments, and patient status in EMR.
• Provide patient education on dialysis care, diet, and fluid management.
