Contract opportunity in Columbia, MO (07/15/2026–07/22/2026). Two 12-hour day shifts: Wed 7/15 and Wed 7/22, 07:00–19:00. Rate: $48.30/hr.
We are seeking a licensed Respiratory Therapist for a bundled contract assignment in an acute-care setting. The ideal candidate has at least one year of hospital or acute-care experience, current BLS and ACLS certifications, and strong assessment and critical-thinking skills. Required competencies include proficiency with ventilators and oxygen delivery systems and the ability to perform in fast-paced, high-acuity environments.
Key responsibilities:
- Assess, treat, and monitor patients with respiratory disorders; administer oxygen therapy and inhaled medications.
- Manage mechanical ventilation and airway support, perform suctioning and pulmonary hygiene.
- Document treatments and patient responses in the EMR, educate patients on respiratory care and equipment, and collaborate with physicians and the care team on treatment planning.
Must hold an active RT license/certification valid for practice in the assignment state.
