Locums Vascular Surgeon — Monthly 5-Day Block with 24‑hr Call in Youngstown, OH

Location: Youngstown, Ohio

Schedule and Coverage

• One five-consecutive-day block per month
• Five-day clinical schedule with 24-hour call during the block
• Call ratio approximately 1:5; average callback time ~1 hour
• Weekend coverage possible
• Patient population: adult and geriatric

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate, diagnose, and manage acute and chronic vascular conditions
• Perform open and endovascular vascular procedures as indicated
• Provide inpatient consultations, daily rounds, and perioperative care
• Respond to emergency vascular surgery calls and urgent consults
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams (e.g., ICU, interventional radiology, cardiology)
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation in the electronic medical record

Required Qualifications

• Board Certified in Vascular Surgery
• Completion of an accredited Vascular Surgery Fellowship
• Active Ohio medical license
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications
• DEA registration preferred/required for credentialing
