Adelphi seeks a licensed mental health professional to provide on-site therapeutic services in a secure juvenile behavioral health facility in Hardin County, Iowa.

Location and Schedule
- Location: Hardin County (Eldora area), Iowa
- Service setting: Secure juvenile behavioral health facility
- Type: Contract, scheduled on-site services
- Schedule: 8–16 hours per week (mutually agreed)
- Start date: August
- Compensation: $80–$90 per hour
Required Qualifications
- Active, unrestricted Iowa license as Psychologist, LMHC, LISW, LMFT, or equivalent
- Master’s or doctoral degree in a behavioral health field as required by license
- Authorized to provide evaluations, counseling, treatment support, and clinical consultation
- Ability to pass required background screening and provide proof of licensure and insurance
- Ability to maintain timely, comprehensive clinical documentation and meet deadlines
- Compliance with applicable laws and PREA requirements
- Preferred: experience with adolescents/juvenile populations and institutional/correctional behavioral health settings
Core Responsibilities
- Conduct psychosocial and clinical evaluations
- Provide individual, family, and group therapy
- Support treatment planning and coordinate care with clinical and administrative staff
- Participate in treatment team and mental health department meetings
- Provide clinical consultation and supervision as needed
- Identify and assist with suicide and self-harm risk assessment and mitigation
- Collaborate with facility staff on behavior management and therapeutic interventions
- Maintain accurate, timely professional documentation of all patient contacts
- Meet caseload, clinical, and documentation deadlines
- Provide coverage per the agreed weekly schedule
- Adhere to PREA and all relevant laws, policies, and professional standards
