Minimum Requirements:

• Active, unrestricted RN license in any U.S. state, territory, or Commonwealth of Puerto Rico.
• Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing.
• Minimum 3 years clinical nursing experience; at least 2 years of clinical and/or OR practical experience.
• BLS (American Heart Association).
• ACLS (American Heart Association).
• PALS (American Heart Association) — must be obtained within 6 months of hire.
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS/NIH-NSS) — must be completed within 6 months of hire.
• CNOR (Competency & Credentialing Institute) — must be completed within 1 year of hire.
• TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course) — must be completed within 2 years of hire.

Core Responsibilities:

• Provide perioperative nursing care using the nursing process: assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
• Serve as circulating nurse across specialty areas: Orthopedics, ENT, GYN/OB, General Surgery, Ophthalmology, and Dental.
• Scrub role experience encouraged and may be required.
• Remain available for on-call rotations, including varied/odd hours and emergency cases on short notice.
• Adhere to hospital policies, aseptic technique, patient safety standards, and documentation requirements.
